REFUND POLICY - V1.2
New Accounts - If you are not completely satisfied with our web hosting services, and you notify Re-invent Technologies in writing by submitting an Account Cancellation Request via the Customer Portal within the first 30 days of your contract that you wish to cancel, you will be given a full refund of the contract amount, excluding setup fees, overages and add-on fees that were added to the account after account activation.
If cancellation is received after the first 30 days, no refund will be granted, no exceptions.
Setup fees are refundable ONLY for the following reasons:
- You canceled the account order prior to activation
- Your desired domain name was not available.
This policy does not apply to any additional services such as, but not limited to, overages, disk space, e-mail accounts, domain name registration, web design services.
A retroactive $25 setup fee would apply if the account was provisioned with an SQL database.
Refund Policy for Renewals
Renewals of web hosting contracts will be refunded if notification is received no later than 15 days following renewal date. No refunds will be granted for notifications received after this date, no exceptions. You can check your renewal dates at anytime from our Customer Portal so you will know when your account is to be renewed.
Domain Registration
This refund policy applies to the web hosting product. If domain name registration is associated with the account, upon the cancellation of the web hosting product, the account will be downgraded to Domain Name Registration Only and you will be informed on how to manage the domain name.
Domain name registration and renewal fees are not refundable under any circumstance.
Requests to Change Term of Contract
Contract length changes must be submitted no later than 15 days after the renewal to be effective for this renewal cycle. Any change requests after this date will be effective upon the next renewal cycle.
Cancellation Requests
Re-invent provides an Account Cancellation form in our Customer Portal under the Account Cancellation link. This is the only acceptable way to cancel an account which provides you with a confirmation number or Cancellation ID#. Requests to cancel via email, phone or trouble ticket are not accepted and will not be processed. To receive a refund, cancellation requests must be submitted in the manner consistent with our refund policy mentioned on this page and in our Web Hosting Contract and Terms.
Requests to Cancel After Renewal Date
You must notify Re-invent Technologies before or within 15 days of the Renewal Date if you wish to cancel an account. Re-invent Technologies does not offer prorated refunds for cancellation requests submitted after 15 days of the renewal date. Renewal dates on accounts can be viewed at any time via our Customer Portal under the Account Info link.
Downgrade Requests
During the first 30 days of activation, you may request a Plan Change to a less expensive Re-invent Technologies product, and you will receive a credit for the difference in Plan cost. After the first 30 days of activation, you may request a Plan Change to a less expensive Re-invent Technologies product but you will be charged a $25.00 Plan Change fee for HE-25, HE-50, HE-100, HE-200, HE-350 web hosting plans.
Upgrade Requests
During the first 30 days of activation, you may request a Plan Change to a more expensive Re-invent Technologies product, and you will charged for the difference in Plan cost. After the first 30 days of activation, you may request a Plan Change to a more expensive Re-invent Technologies product but you will be charged a $25.00 Plan Change fee for HE-25, HE-50, HE-100, HE-200, HE-350 web hosting plans.
No Transfer of Funds Between Accounts
Re-invent Technologies does not transfer funds from one account to another for any reason. It is your responsibility to keep valid contact and billing information on the account. Re-invent Technologies will continue to send information regarding your account in accordance with the contact information you have provided.
Balance Due
Please be advised that the cancellation of the account does not release you from financial responsibility. If your account has a past due balance and you are not eligible for a refund, our Accounting department will continue collection efforts.
